Duties / Responsibilities:
- Provides senior level expertise supporting scenario and exercise design (development, application, maintenance, and instructing) at the US Army’s Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) in support of USAICoE requirements. The exercises and scenarios train intelligence Soldiers on integrating processes and continuing activities of the operations process with a focus on the Intelligence Warfighting Function. Duties include conducting problem and needs analysis, designing, developing, producing, and delivering scenario and/or exercise materials to US Army and other supported organizations. Provide support and assistance to the exercise and scenario team(s) in creating scenarios in accordance with the Army’s design methodology. Additional support will be to present technical, exercise, and scenario briefings to and for the customer, liaison with external organizations and stakeholders, as well as accept and provide recommendations to USAICoE, TRADOC, and FORSCOM personnel.
- Primary duties for this position are scenario development within the USAICoE’s Directorate of Training (DOT) supporting the DOT’s Plans and Exercise Team with secondary duties supporting other programs as directed.
- Responsible for designing, maintaining, integrating and administrating programs covering directed topics in support of the PLEX team, e.g., IPB, MDMP, Intelligence Support to Collection, the Intelligence Synchronization process, Targeting Operations, IO, DOMEX, CNO, Intelligence Analysis and Fusion Operations.
- Provides subject matter expertise to management and technical personnel within the scope of experience pertaining to mission and technical operations, and self develops on all other aspects of mission and technical operations.
- Supports program staff as required and ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.
- Provides support at technical meetings and prepares reports, as required.
- Responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining tests and visual aids.
- Assists in the preparation and presentation of briefings; provides programmatic and technical support and assistance to the USAICOE Directorate of Training, and others as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Six (6) years of operational experience in the MI branch as an Intelligence Officer, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, or Senior Warrant Officer, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force or U.S. Marine Corps
- Served in the MI branch as an Intelligence Officer, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, or Senior Warrant Officer, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force or U.S. Marine Corps specialties
- Experience with developing and improving concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Experience with designing, maintaining, and administrating programs to train personnel in, but not limited to- IPB, MDMP, Intelligence Support to Collection, the Intelligence Synchronization Process, Targeting Operations, IO, DOMEX, CNO, Intelligence Analysis and Fusion Operations.
- Experience with developing, improving, and maintaining tests and visual aids.
- Experience with coordinating class arrangements and conducting and evaluating training classes.
- Possesses experience related to current MI doctrine, recent changes and fielding of the Army Field Manuals, Army Regulations and DoD Directives relating to Intelligence Operations.
